This cake was fun. I was asked to do a green and black polka dot cake....."but feel free to funk it up". I decided to do a square cake a little bit whimsical. Not whimsical like the topsy turvy cakes, but kind of an upside down triangle. The top cake being the biggest and graduating sizes down to the bottom. It makes me think of a cartoon cake. I was a little nervous about it as I usually am when trying something new. But, I love it! It's my favorite right now and I would really like to try this look with a two tiered cake one of these days.
So on to the cake. It was chocolate cake, cream cheese filling, and covered and decorated in marshmallow fondant. Happy 18th Birthday, Jennifer!

I wish you could have seen her reaction!! She loved this cake. Everyone was loving it also. I don't think Jennifer wanted anyone to cut it because it was so pretty.
I have to say this is my favorite cake that you have done. LOL.
Thanks so much for taking the time out to make this cake for her and I know that she will never forget her 18th birthday party with the special cakes that she had.
Thanks!!
