Last week was full of Valentine goodies. They were mostly for the kids and their friends and a good opportunity to try a few different things. First of all I made cupcake ice cream cones for my youngest guy's friends at his sitter's. They were red velvet cake and whipped cream cheese icing.
I love doing homemade valentines instead of the store bought ones. And since my oldest is still young enough (K-4) not to care if we make them at home, I will take advantage. I found cute fish valentines at www.brightideas.com. I really like this website and have gotten several cute ideas from there. I thought they turned out pretty cute.My sister also made some for the kids at church.
Of course I couldn't let a holiday go by without sugar cookies so I did some for Big Man's whole class and a few for his teacher.
And last but not least, I made Bakerella's cake balls. I thought they would be easier than the cake pops, but not true. Turns out it's much easier to get the chocolate on the cake ball when it's attached to a stick than when it's not.
I like everything you did. Too cute!!

The icecream cone cupcakes were always my favorite growing up. We did them for punkin's 2nd birthday party at the lake and the kids loved them!
