I apologize for being away for awhile, but I have been making cakes. I just haven't slowed down long enough to post them. This past weekend we had a birthday party and also a open house for my Grandmother, Nanna. Nanna is very special to me so it was an honor for me to be able to make a cake for her.
The overall theme was "springy" so this is what I came up with. The top layer is chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. The middle layer is yellow cake with cream cheese filling and the bottom layer is butter pecan with cream cheese filling. It's all covered with fondant and all of the decorations were made from fondant.

Your Mom shared news of this cake with those of us that eat lunch with her and we have been waiting patiently for pics! Better than I would have ever thought... you truly do have a God given talent for decorating cakes! :)
