My very good life long friend, photochick, had a beautiful baby boy about a week and a half ago. I wanted to take some goodies to the hospital for her and decided to try out a new recipe. I baked yellow cupcakes with bakeable cream cheese filling that had miniature chocolate chips in it. I iced some of the cupcakes with white buttercream and some with chocolate. She probably noticed that in a box that should hold 24 cupcakes, some were missing. I HAD to try one and so did my husband and the boys. We all agreed...delicious! I really think this combination would be an excellent cake as well.
I got pictures of the cupcakes...not to exciting. Photo said that I should have cut one open and photographed it that way. Yes that would have been an excellent idea except I didn't think of it. We don't call her photochick for nothing.
I also made some sugar cookies in honor of baby boy's arrival.
The cupcakes were soooooo delicious! We didn't even miss the few missing, there were so many I gave them to all my nurses. They thanked you too!
