Cars

I took a little blog break last week, but I'm back with some very exciting cakes.  So I'll paly catch up for the next couple of weeks.  Today is a Cars cake.  What little boy doesn't like Cars?  Mine sure do! 

 

This particular Cars cake was for a very cute little boy's birthday.  My pictures are before the actual cars were added and the mom of the birthday boy was nice enough to send me some pictures of the finished cake at the party.

The bottom tier was white cake with cream cheese filling and the top tier was chocolate chip cake with chocolate buttercream filling.  The cake was covered with marshmallow fondant and the decorations were fondant.

Added touches:  a stack of tires and road signs.
