cowboy campfire

I'm way behind.  This party was the first part of January and the cake was for Sassychick's youngest who is not so little anymore.  Can we make time slow down just a little?  No?  Oh well.

The theme was cowboy and there was a bonfire outside.  A hayride was planned but the temperature outside was arctic and there was no way a bonfire was happening. 

 

The top tier was yellow cake and the bottom was chocolate.  The icing and filling was buttercream.  The decorations were fondant and the campfire wood was none other than twix.  Yum!  The hay bales were rice krispy treats covered with toasted coconut.
